A few words about us

We specialize in trading valuable commodities such as high-end or rare gemstones, semi-precious gemstones, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, precious metals, natural stones, and raw minerals. We travel around the world to develop relationships directly with the mines, making sure the commodities are ethically mined, authenticated, and tested.
Our clients are wholesalers, jewelry manufacturers, refineries, refractories, distributors, retailers, and auction houses, or private buyers. We are a good option for those who are looking to acquire high-quality gemstones for investment or collection purposes. We can provide transparent information about the gemstones we are selling, including the origin, quality, and any treatment undergone by providing the full report from the top laboratories in the world.

We are also an expert in the unrefined metals industry. We've developed relationships with small to medium scale mining operations in various parts of the world. With our knowledge, expertise, and resources, we first conduct proper testing and analysis to determine the purity and quality of the raw metals. Then, we evaluate the mines to see if they are operating ethically and responsibility. Finally, we facilitate the sale to the intermediaries who refine it into its final form or we sell it as raw metal to buyers who are looking for the raw material.

Ethically sourced

sustainable and responsible mining

Ethically sourced metals, minerals, stones, and gemstones refer to raw materials that have been extracted and produced in a responsible and sustainable manner, with consideration for the social and environmental impacts of the extraction process.
For metals, ethical sourcing may involve ensuring that the mining process meets certain standards for worker safety, labor practices, and environmental impact. This may include using safer and more sustainable mining techniques, reducing waste and pollution, and ensuring that workers are treated fairly and paid a living wage.
Similarly, for gemstones, ethical sourcing may involve ensuring that the mining and cutting processes are done in a way that minimizes the environmental impact and upholds human rights. This may include using fair labor practices, reducing the use of harmful chemicals, and avoiding mining in areas with sensitive ecosystems or cultural significance.
To ensure that metals and gemstones are ethically sourced, various certification programs and standards have been developed, such as the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), Fairmined certification, and the Kimberley Process for diamonds. These programs aim to provide assurance to consumers that the materials they are purchasing have been produced in a responsible and sustainable manner.
However, small-scale mines may face challenges in joining certification programs for ethical sourcing of metals and gemstones. These programs can be expensive and require significant resources to implement, which may be difficult for small-scale mines to afford. We work directly with small-scale miners to ensure that they are paid fair prices for their materials and that they are using sustainable mining practices. By creating direct relationships with small-scale mines, we are helping to promote ethical sourcing and supporting sustainable mining practices in a more affordable and accessible way.

REgulations

Our Standard for Responsible Sourcing and Trading

1. The European Union (EU) Conflict Minerals Regulation: This regulation aims to prevent the import of minerals that have been used to fund armed conflict or human rights abuses. The regulation requires companies to carry out due diligence on their supply chains to ensure that their minerals do not contribute to conflict or human rights abuses.
2. The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme: This international certification scheme is aimed at preventing the trade of conflict diamonds. The scheme requires that diamonds be accompanied by a certificate stating that they are conflict-free.
3. The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) certification: This is a voluntary certification scheme for the jewelry industry that sets out standards for responsible sourcing and trading of metals and gemstones. The RJC requires compliance with a range of social, environmental, and ethical standards.
4. Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) aims to promote responsible sourcing of minerals from conflict-affected and high-risk areas. The aim is to prevent the trade of minerals that contribute to conflict or human rights abuses, and to promote responsible and sustainable practices in the mining and sourcing of minerals.
5. The Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance (IRMA) is the answer to a global demand for more socially and environmentally responsible mining. IRMA offers true independent third-party verification and certification against a comprehensive standard for all mined materials that provides ‘one-stop coverage’ of the full range of issues related to the impacts of industrial-scale mines.
